Experts in the use of forced convection technology, Spooner engineer dryers, ovens, coolers, oxidisers and environmental solutions across a wide range of industries including paper, converting, metals and food.
Developed in the 1930s by William Spooner, Spooner’s technology has been utilised in all our industrial equipment for many decades. Starting in the textile drying industry Spooner now manufactures efficient process equipment across a wide range of sectors.
From the bread, we eat to the teabag in our morning drink and the packaging it came in, to the washing machine spinning our clothes and the clean air we breathe, Spooner equipment enhances everyday lives.

With over 160 employees Spooner design, manufacture, commission and install equipment all over the world. We are proud to be a British manufacturing company with a long history of developing excellent processing equipment. Working with some of the biggest names across the various sectors, Spooner has become well-established within the process industry. Providing a tailored solution, Spooner works with customers to understand their processes before developing a bespoke solution.
Just like William Spooner did in the early years, Spooner continues to invest in research and development. With a dedicated research and development facility, we encourage our team to push the boundaries by designing and testing new possibilities. Since 1932 we have built up a vast wealth of knowledge and experience that we continue to develop and pass on to our apprentices and younger team members.
